About Me
Hi, I'm Bobby Brown, and I'm a web developer and designer from Williamsport, PA. I graduated summa cum laude from Lycoming College with dual degrees: B.S. Physics and B.A. Astronomy. I have experience in many different facets of both front-end and back-end web development, including responsive web design. Some of my various hobbies include tennis, playing music (drums, guitar, ukulele), and sky watching. I also enjoy Sci-Fi TV shows such as Fringe and Warehouse 13, among others. I also spend a lot of time reading.

Student Web Developer (2008–2011)
- Partnered with web team to manage day-to-day website updates, implement new projects and provide user support for various web systems.
- Assisted in the implementation of two site-wide reprogramming projects. The first was to update the website to current web standards to improve maintainability and optimization, and the second was a complete redesign of the college website coupled with a shift from predominately static XHTML pages to exclusively ASP.NET using C# code behind.
- Individually developed several interactive components for the website using jQuery. Examples include the Virtual Tour and Meet Interns sections of the website.
- Programmed a large number of web forms for various departments, especially for Alumni Relations.
- Heavily involved in any troubleshooting.
- Performed the majority of front-end administration work on the myLyco Microsoft SharePoint portal.
